European and US stocks are higher this afternoon despite the heightened political tensions between Western governments and Russia. Traders are shrugging off the sanctions against Russia.
Gold has pulled back from the 9-month high that was posted yesterday as risk-on sentiment dominates. Palladium and Platinum are higher as Russia is a major producer of those metals.
