Recovery in global markets leads European stocks higher

European stocks opened higher on Friday, as global markets rallied, driving stocks rise from their low after the Christmas holiday.

This is due to optimism about China and US trade talks and the Federal Reserve's stance that suggests a less hawkish approach to monetary policy.

The Euro Stoxx 600 European index rose 0.1% at the opening, the highest level in a month, with the rise of most regional stocks and industrial sectors.
