Nowotny sees bitcoin is a speculative product, not a currency

While presenting the Austrian Financial Stability Report on Monday, the ECB Governing Council member and Austrian Central Bank Head, Ewald Nowotny, said that bitcoin is a speculative product, not a currency. So we Shouldn't overestimate introduction of Bitcoin futures.
On the other side, he praised the need for ECB to be cautious in changing its monetary policy and start to raise the interest rate from historical lows.
