The New Zealand National Party overtake the Labor Party in New Zealand during recent polls

The National Party has made a clear showing in recent polls, with the National Party got 44.4%, the Labor Party 39.9%, the Green Party 6.4%, the Labor's Alliance with the Greens got 46.3%.

On the other hand, the parties supporting the National party, such as the Maori party, came in at 0.8% and the ACT party by 0.5%. With New Zealand first party led by Winston Peters to collect about 5.5% of the vote.

Bill English, the current prime minister and leader of the National party, polled the 37% preferred prime minister ahead of Jacinda Ardern, leader of the Labor Party, which won 31% of the poll.

The New Zealand elections are a few days away, it will be held on September 23.
