Barkindo sees global demand to rise in 2018

Mohamed Barkindo, Secretary General of OPEC, made the following statement:

• I expect global oil demand to rise by 1.6 million bpd in 2018.
• I expect the global economy to continue recovering this year.
• Oil market on the way to restore its balance.
