Bank of England keeps interest at 0.50%

The Bank of England announced its monetary policy decision at Thursday's meeting to keep interest at 0.50% with vote of 7 members. Two members wanted an immediate increase, Ian McCafferty and Michael Saunders , leaving the markets ready to take this decision in May.

On The other hand, The Committee also voted unanimously to maintain the stock of UK government bond purchases, financed by the issuance of central bank reserves, at £435 billion.
