China's Ministry of Commerce has indicated that it is ready if the trade issue escalates with the United States and will fight without hesitation. The Ministry's main comments were as follows:
- The open market is only voluntary work by China.
- We hope the United States understands the world situation and does not go blindly.
- China and the United States have not negotiated bilateral trade disputes.
- The issue is not whether China is ready to negotiate or not, and that the United States does not show any loyalty to the laws.
- US actions so far are trade protectionism.
- It is impossible for China to negotiate with the United States if negotiations are hijacked.
- So far, American actions have retreated from the spirit and rules of the World Trade Organization.
- Says that Chinese law does not authorize foreign parties to transfer technology.
- China will not rule out any options on the trade dispute with the United States.
- Are ready to escalate with the United States in the trade dispute.
- China treats domestic and foreign companies fairly.
- We do not demand that tariffs be equal in bilateral relations under WTO rules
- It is not reasonable that customs duties are fully equal to both sides.
