ECB keeps rates unchanged

The European Central Bank (ECB) decided today to keep its current monetary policy unchanged, with interest rates unchanged at 0.00%, interest on deposits and marginal lending at -0.40% and 0.25%, respectively. The pace of the monetary easing program was also kept at € 30 billion per month until September 2018.

The markets are currently waiting for ECB President Mario Draghi's press conference to take hints about the Bank's direction for the coming period and form a clearer picture of the bank's outlook.
