Eurozone economy grew by fastest pace in 11 years

Euro Zone GDP grew by 0.6% quarterly basis in the fourth quarter of 2017, while growing by 2.7% yoy. Overall in 2017, GDP in the euro zone grew by 2.5%, the fastest pace of growth since the economy grew by 3% in 2007.

Industrial production in Eurozone rose more than expected in December, confirming the accelerated pace of economic growth over the last decade, which is expected to continue through 2018. Industrial production in the Eurozone rose by 0.4% on a monthly basis and by 5.2% annually.

Also, Germany's largest economy in Euro area GDP grew by 0.6% on a quarterly basis and by 2.9% on yearly basis in the last quarter of 2017. The French economy also grew by 0.6% on monthly basis and 2.4% on yearly basis. While the Spanish economy grew by 0.7% and 3.1%.
