Greece is optimistic about a debt relief deal this month that will make the return to bond markets post-bailout time credible, a Greek government official said. Greece is holding talks with the eurozone and IMF lenders on reaching an agreement later this month to ease the debt burden.

The official said Greece was seeking to bring a cash return of 20 billion euros (23.65 billion dollars) and that Greece would stick to the current financial and reform targets, although there are no new conditions imposed. The official said he was optimistic that loans would be extended under the debt relief agreement, which is to be approved by eurozone finance ministers on June 21.
