IEA says that OPEC's mission is nearly completed as oil glut vanishes. The highlights of the monthly report were:
- Oil demand forecasts were maintained in 2018 at 1.5 million barrels per day.
- Oil supply in non-OPEC countries is expected to grow by 1.8 million bpd, as previously forecast.
- The OPEC Treaty appears to have completed its mission of reducing stocks by an average of five years.
