The latest statistics show that Saudi Arabia has produced new record levels of oil, raising production to its highest levels ever amid persistent pressure from US President Donald Trump to refrain from production cuts at the OPEC meeting scheduled for next week.
Saudi crude oil production was 11.1 to 11.3 million barrels per day in November, up 0.5 million barrels per day, or 0.5% of world demand, and more than one million bpd compared to the beginning of this year. This comes as Trump said in his main account on Twitter that oil prices are falling and Saudi Arabia should let prices fall even further
