The Bank of England is offering a stress test for banks until Nov. 28

The Bank of England said on Tuesday it would put pressure tests on banks until Nov. 28 so that it could analyze how the central bank is dealing with a possible "exit from the deal" before parliament votes on an agreement.

The Bank of England said the Financial Stability Report and the full results of the bank's annual test of effort at major UK banks would be published on Nov. 28 instead of Dec. 5.

The bank said it would seek a request from the Treasury Committee of the Parliament to provide an analysis of how the UK exit draft from the EU would affect the Bank's ability to provide its legal powers for monetary and financial stability, including in the "no deal and no transfer" scenario. The committee had requested that the analysis be completed in time for parliament to vote on the deal.
