The trade agreement reached this week with South Korea could be delayed until a deal with North Korea on nuclear disarmament is reached, US President Donald Trump said yesterday. Senior US officials have expressed concern that Seoul is the weakest link in the alliance between the United States, Japan and South Korea.
Trump agreed this month to accept Kim Yong's invitation, the North Korean leader, by the end of May, after the North-South summit held in April. The United States and South Korea agreed earlier this week to review the six-year free trade agreement.
