U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to impose more tariffs on China and warned that China's intervention in U.S. policy is a bigger problem than Russian intervention in the 2016 election.
When asked if he wanted to push China's economy into recession, he said, " No i want them to negotiate a fair deal with us, and I want them to open up their markets like our open markets".
So far, the United States has imposed customs duties on Chinese imports totaling 250 billion dollars, prompting China to retaliate against American products.
